The brief
Industrial manufacturers tend to have the opposite of a content problem: deep catalogues, real capability, and a site that buries both. Modernsteel wanted their products and services to be legible to someone arriving cold.
What we did
A full redesign and rebuild led from UI/UX:
- Navigation reorganised around how buyers actually look for steel products, not around the internal org chart
- A modern, responsive layout that works on the phone a site visit gets opened on
- Interactive elements to give a long product catalogue some pace
- CMS development so the team updates products themselves
SEO best practice and accessibility compliance were built in rather than bolted on.
